- Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, or solvents, as these may damage the finish or internal components.
Storage
- Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Avoid storing in environments with high humidity or dust.
- If storing for an extended period, charge the battery periodically (e.g., every 3-6 months) to maintain battery health.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Creative Muvo 20, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Power / Speaker Not Turning On:
- Ensure the battery is charged. Connect the speaker to a power source and allow it to charge for at least 30 minutes before attempting to power on.
- Verify the charging cable and adapter are functioning correctly.
- Cannot Pair via Bluetooth:
- Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode (indicator light flashing).
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your source device and it is within range (typically 10 meters or 33 feet).
- Try turning off and on Bluetooth on your source device.
- If previously paired, try "forgetting" or "unpairing" the speaker from your device's Bluetooth list and then re-pairing.
- Ensure no other devices are currently connected to the speaker.
- No Sound or Low Volume:
- Check that the speaker's volume is turned up.
- Ensure the volume on your source device is also turned up and not muted.
- Verify the speaker is correctly connected via Bluetooth or Aux-in.
- If using Aux-in, ensure the cable is fully inserted into both the speaker and the source device.
- Audio Distortion at High Volume:
- This can occur if the volume on both the source device and the speaker are set to maximum. Try reducing the volume on either the source device or the speaker.
- Ensure the audio source is of good quality.
- Cannot Charge Mobile Device (Power Bank Function):
- Ensure the speaker has sufficient battery charge.
- Verify that you are using the correct USB output port for charging (if applicable) and not the micro USB input port.
- Check the charging cable for your mobile device for damage.
