Setup
1. Charging the Headphones
Before first use, fully charge your headphones. Connect the included USB cable to the charging port on the headphones and the other end to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, wall adapter). A full charge takes approximately 1.5 hours and provides up to 15 hours of playtime. A quick 15-minute charge can provide up to 2 hours of playtime.
2. Powering On/Off
To power on, slide the Power/Bluetooth switch to the 'On' position. To power off, slide the switch to the 'Off' position.
3. Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the headphones are powered on.
- Slide the Power/Bluetooth switch to the Bluetooth symbol and hold until you hear "Ready to pair" and the Bluetooth indicator light blinks blue.
- On your device (smartphone, tablet), turn on Bluetooth and select "Bose SoundLink OE" from the list of available devices.
- Once paired, you will hear "Connected to [device name]" and the Bluetooth indicator light will glow solid white.
The headphones can connect to two devices simultaneously. Voice prompts will guide you through the connection status and battery life.

Controls
The controls are located on the right earcup for easy access.
- Multi-function button:
- Press once to Play/Pause music or Answer/End a call.
- Press twice to Skip forward.
- Press three times to Skip backward.
- Press and hold to activate voice assistant (Siri, Google Assistant).
- Volume Up/Down: Press + or - buttons to adjust volume.
- Call Management:
- To answer a call: Press the Multi-function button once.
- To end a call: Press the Multi-function button once during a call.
- To decline a call: Press and hold the Multi-function button for 2 seconds.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the headphones with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use liquid cleaners or sprays.
- Storage: When not in use, store the headphones in their included carrying case to protect them from dust and damage.
- Battery Care: Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, charge the battery to about 50% to prolong its lifespan.
