- CD Lid: Opens to insert or remove a CD.

6. Setup
6.1 Powering the Unit
Your CD player can be powered by batteries or an AC adapter.
Using Batteries:
- Open the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the unit.
- Insert 2 x AA batteries (not included), ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Using AC Power:
- Plug the AC power adapter into the DC IN jack on the side of the unit.
- Plug the other end of the adapter into a standard wall outlet.
Note: When the AC adapter is connected, battery power is automatically disconnected.
6.2 Connecting Headphones
Insert the 3.5mm stereo plug of your headphones into the HEADPHONE jack on the side of the unit.
7. Operating the CD Player
7.1 Loading a CD
- Gently press the OPEN button or slide the latch to open the CD lid.
- Place a CD with the label side facing up onto the center spindle.
- Gently press the CD down until it clicks into place.
- Close the CD lid firmly until it latches.
7.2 Basic Playback
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback. The track number and elapsed time will be displayed.
- To pause playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button again. Press it once more to resume.
- To stop playback, press the STOP button.
- Adjust the volume using the VOLUME dial.
7.3 Skipping Tracks
- Press the >> button once to skip to the next track.
- Press the << button once to skip to the beginning of the current track. Press it twice quickly to skip to the previous track.
7.4 Fast Forward/Rewind
- Press and hold the >> button to fast forward within a track.
- Press and hold the << button to rewind within a track.
7.5 Playback Modes (Repeat/Random)
Press the MODE button repeatedly to cycle through available playback modes:
- Repeat 1: Repeats the current track.
- Repeat All: Repeats all tracks on the CD.
- Random: Plays tracks in a random order.
- Intro: Plays the first few seconds of each track.
- Normal Play: Disables special playback modes.
7.6 Programming Tracks
- In STOP mode, press the PROGRAM button. The program indicator will flash.
- Use the << or >> buttons to select the desired track.
- Press the PROGRAM button again to add the track to the program list.
- Repeat steps 2 and 3 to add more tracks (up to 20 tracks).
- Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start programmed playback.
- To clear the program, press the STOP button twice.
