1. Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the safe and efficient operation, assembly, and maintenance of your GREENCUT GTC300XE petrol tiller. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the machine to ensure proper handling and to prevent injury or damage.
The GREENCUT GTC300XE is a powerful and versatile petrol tiller designed for soil cultivation in gardens and agricultural fields. It features a 212cc 7hp 4-stroke engine with electric start, an 85cm working width, and three operational speeds (two forward, one reverse).
2. Safety Instructions
Always prioritize safety when operating machinery. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or death.
- Read the Entire Manual: Before assembly, operation, or maintenance, read and understand all instructions and warnings in this manual.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, sturdy footwear, and gloves.
- Fuel Handling: Petrol is highly flammable. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Do not smoke or allow open flames near the machine.
- Work Area: Clear the work area of stones, debris, and other objects that could be thrown by the blades. Keep bystanders, children, and pets away from the operating area.
- Engine Hot: The engine and exhaust system become very hot during operation and remain hot for a period after shutdown. Avoid contact to prevent burns.
- Blade Safety: The tiller blades are sharp and rotate at high speed. Never touch the blades while the engine is running. Disconnect the spark plug wire before performing any maintenance on the blades.
- Slope Operation: Exercise extreme caution when operating on slopes. Operate across the face of slopes, never up and down. Avoid excessively steep slopes.
- Maintenance: Perform all maintenance as described in this manual. Use only genuine replacement parts.
3. Assembly and Setup
Follow these steps to assemble your GREENCUT GTC300XE tiller.
3.1 Unboxing and Component Check
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts are present according to the packing list. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact customer support.

3.3 Blade and Wheel Attachment
Install the hardened steel tiller blades onto the main shaft. Ensure they are correctly oriented for proper soil turning. Secure them with the retaining pins or bolts. Attach the transport wheels to the front or rear as per the design, ensuring they are firmly in place for stability during transport or storage.

4. Operating Instructions
Familiarize yourself with the controls before starting the engine.
4.1 Pre-Operation Checklist
- Check engine oil level.
- Check fuel level.
- Inspect blades for damage or wear.
- Ensure all nuts, bolts, and fasteners are tight.
- Clear the work area of any obstacles.
4.2 Starting the Engine (Electric Start)
- Ensure the fuel valve is open.
- Set the choke lever to the 'CHOKE' position (cold engine).
- Turn the ignition key or press the electric start button.
- Once the engine starts, gradually move the choke lever to the 'RUN' position as the engine warms up.
4.3 Engaging Gears and Tilling
The GTC300XE features 3 speeds: 2 forward (short and long) and 1 reverse. Select the desired gear using the gear lever. For initial tilling, start with a lower forward speed. The working width is 85cm, and the tilling depth can reach up to 35cm depending on soil conditions and machine adjustment.

4.4 Stopping the Engine
To stop the engine, move the throttle lever to the 'STOP' position or turn the ignition key to 'OFF'. Close the fuel valve if storing for an extended period.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your tiller.
- Cleaning: After each use, clean soil and debris from the blades, chassis, and engine cooling fins.
- Blade Inspection: Regularly inspect the blades for wear, damage, or looseness. Replace worn or damaged blades promptly.
- Engine Oil Change: Change the engine oil after the first 5 hours of operation, then every 25-50 hours or annually, whichever comes first.
- Air Filter: Clean the air filter regularly, especially in dusty conditions. Replace if damaged.
- Spark Plug: Inspect the spark plug annually. Clean or replace as necessary.
- Storage: For long-term storage, drain the fuel tank or add a fuel stabilizer. Clean the machine thoroughly and store in a dry, protected area.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter.
