4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Adjusting the Seat

The Domyos VM 530 features an adjustable seat. To adjust the seat height, loosen the adjustment knob located on the seat post, slide the seat to the desired height, and then securely tighten the knob. Ensure the seat is stable before use.

4.2 Console Operation

The exercise bike is equipped with a battery-powered console that displays workout data. Insert batteries into the console compartment as indicated in the assembly guide. The console typically activates when you begin pedaling or by pressing a button.

4.3 Resistance Adjustment

The Domyos VM 530 uses an internal resistance mechanism. To increase or decrease the pedaling resistance, turn the resistance knob located on the main frame. Turn clockwise to increase resistance and counter-clockwise to decrease it.

4.4 Starting a Workout

Sit on the seat, place your feet securely in the pedal straps, and begin pedaling. The console will typically activate and start tracking your workout metrics automatically.

5. Maintenance

6. Troubleshooting

  • Console Not Displaying: Check if batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Ensure all connections to the console are secure.
  • Unusual Noises: Inspect all assembled parts for looseness. Tighten any loose bolts or nuts. If noises persist, discontinue use and contact customer support.
  • Resistance Not Changing: Verify that the resistance knob is turning freely and engaging the internal mechanism. If it feels stuck or unresponsive, contact customer support.
