- Storage: When not in use, store the light in its included carry case in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Handling: Always handle the light with care. Avoid dropping or subjecting it to strong impacts, which can damage the internal components or LED array.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1 Light Does Not Turn On
- Check Power Connection: Ensure the AC power adapter is securely plugged into both the light and a working wall outlet. If using battery power, confirm the V-mount battery is fully charged and properly seated on the plate.
- Power Switch: Verify the power switch on the back of the light is in the 'ON' position.
- Fuse: Check the fuse located near the XLR input on the back panel. If blown, replace it with a fuse of the same rating.
7.2 Light Output is Inconsistent or Flickering
- Power Source: Ensure a stable power supply. If using AC, try a different outlet. If using battery, ensure it's not low on charge.
- Dimming Knob: Gently rotate the dimming knob back and forth to ensure good contact.
7.3 Overheating
The Dracast Pro Series LED1000 features a passive, silent cooling system. Ensure adequate ventilation around the light panel during operation. Do not block the vents or operate in enclosed spaces that could lead to excessive heat buildup.
