Setup
Unpacking:
- Carefully remove all packaging materials from the scale.
- Inspect the scale for any signs of damage. Do not use if damaged.
Battery Installation:
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
- Open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 x AAA 1.5V batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
Initial Placement:
- Place the scale on a hard, flat, and level surface to ensure accurate readings.
- Avoid placing the scale near heat sources, vibrating equipment, or areas with strong air currents.
- Place the removable stainless steel dish onto the scale base.

Operating Instructions
Power On/Off:
- To turn on the scale, press the ZERO ON/OFF button. The display will show '0 g' when ready.
- To turn off the scale, press and hold the ZERO ON/OFF button for a few seconds. The scale will also automatically turn off after approximately 2 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.
Basic Weighing:
- Ensure the scale is on and displays '0 g'.
- Place the item(s) to be weighed directly onto the stainless steel dish.
- The weight will be displayed on the LCD screen.
Tare (Zeroing) Function:
The tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients consecutively without removing previous ones, or to subtract the weight of a container.
- Place an empty container (e.g., the stainless steel dish) on the scale. The display will show its weight.
- Press the ZERO ON/OFF button. The display will reset to '0 g'.
- Add the first ingredient to the container. Its weight will be displayed.
- To add another ingredient, press the ZERO ON/OFF button again to reset the display to '0 g', then add the next ingredient. Repeat as needed.
Unit Selection:
The scale can measure in grams (g), pounds and ounces (lb:oz), milliliters of water (ml), and fluid ounces of milk (fl:oz).
- With the scale on, press the MODE button to cycle through the available units.
- Select the desired unit for your measurement.
Water and Milk Volume Measurement:
This function allows for approximate volume measurement of water and milk based on their density.
- Place an empty container on the scale and use the tare function to zero the display.
- Press the MODE button until 'ml' (for water) or 'fl:oz' (for milk) is displayed.
- Pour the liquid into the container. The approximate volume will be displayed.
Maintenance and Care
Cleaning:
- The removable stainless steel dish can be washed with warm soapy water or placed in a dishwasher for hygienic care.
- Wipe the scale base with a slightly damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaning agents.
- Ensure the scale is completely dry before storage or next use.
Storage:
- Store the scale in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Avoid placing heavy objects on the scale during storage.
Battery Replacement:
- When the battery indicator appears on the display, it is time to replace the batteries.
