Introduction
The Jensen JMC-1250 is a versatile music system designed to play various audio formats, including vinyl records, CDs, and cassette tapes. It also features Bluetooth connectivity for streaming audio from compatible devices and an AM/FM radio tuner. This manual provides detailed instructions for setting up, operating, and maintaining your music system.

Safety Information
Please read all safety and operating instructions carefully before using this product. Retain these instructions for future reference.
- Power Source: Connect the unit only to the power supply indicated in the operating instructions or as marked on the appliance.
- Ventilation: Ensure proper ventilation. Do not block any ventilation openings.

Setup
Follow these steps for initial setup of your Jensen JMC-1250 music system:
- Placement: Place the main unit on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
- Speaker Connection: Connect the left and right speakers to the corresponding speaker terminals on the back of the main unit. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
- Antenna Connection: Extend the FM wire antenna for optimal FM reception. For AM reception, adjust the position of the unit for best signal.
- Power Connection: Plug the AC power cord into a standard wall outlet (AC 120V ~ 60Hz).
- Remote Control Batteries: Open the battery compartment on the remote control and insert 2 AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity.

Operating Instructions
General Controls
Familiarize yourself with the main control panel:

- POWER Button: Press to turn the unit ON or OFF.
- FUNCTION/MODE Button: Press to switch between PHONO, CD, TAPE, FM, AM, and BLUETOOTH modes.
- VOLUME Control: Rotate the knob to adjust the overall volume level.
- EQ Button: Press to cycle through preset equalizer modes (e.g., Flat, Rock, Pop, Classic, Jazz).
Turntable Operation
- Lift the dust cover.
- Place a record on the turntable platter.
- Select the appropriate speed (33, 45, or 78 RPM) using the SPEED selector switch.
- Move the tone arm to the desired position on the record. The turntable will start automatically.
- At the end of the record, the turntable will stop automatically. Return the tone arm to its rest.
CD Player Operation
The unit features a 3-CD rotary changer compatible with Audio CDs, MP3 CDs, and CD-R/RW discs.

- Press the CD button to select CD mode.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button to open the CD tray.
- Place up to three CDs on the disc trays, label side up.
- Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the CD tray.
- Playback will begin automatically. Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to navigate tracks and the PLAY/PAUSE button to control playback.
Cassette Deck Operation
The unit includes a dual cassette deck with auto-stop function.

- Press the TAPE button to select Tape mode.
- Press the EJECT button for Deck 1 or Deck 2 to open the cassette door.
- Insert a cassette tape with the exposed tape facing downwards.
- Close the cassette door.
- Press the PLAY button (▶) to begin playback. Use the FAST FORWARD (▶▶) and REWIND (◀◀) buttons to navigate.
- To record, insert a blank tape into Deck 1. Select the desired source (CD, Phono, Radio, or AUX). Press the RECORD button (●) on Deck 1.
Bluetooth Operation
- Press the BLUETOOTH button to select Bluetooth mode. The Bluetooth indicator will flash.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device and search for "JMC-1250".
- Select "JMC-1250" from the list of available devices to pair. Once paired, the indicator will stop flashing and remain solid.
- You can now stream audio from your device to the music system.
AM/FM Radio Operation
- Press the FM or AM button to select the desired radio band.
- Press the TUNING UP/DOWN buttons to manually tune to a station.
- Press and hold the TUNING UP/DOWN buttons for automatic scanning to the next available station.
- To preset stations, tune to the desired station, then press the PROGRAM button. Use the SKIP/SEARCH buttons to select a preset number, then press PROGRAM again to save.
Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity of your music system.
- Cleaning the Unit: Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Turntable Stylus Care: Gently clean the stylus periodically with a soft brush, brushing from back to front. Replace the stylus when sound quality deteriorates.
- Cassette Deck Care: Clean the tape heads, capstan, and pinch roller after every 10-20 hours of operation using a cotton swab lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol.
- CD Lens Care: Do not touch the CD lens. If the CD player experiences reading errors, a CD lens cleaner disc may be used.
- Dust Cover: Keep the dust cover closed when the turntable is not in use to prevent dust accumulation.
