4. Product Overview

5. Setup and Installation
The Rollodrive 55 is designed for simple surface mounting on the wall or within the window reveal. It can easily replace an existing manual winder without requiring access to the roller shutter box.
5.1 Mounting the Device
- Preparation: Ensure the roller shutter is fully closed and secured. Disconnect power to the area if necessary.
- Remove Old Winder: Carefully remove your existing manual belt winder.
- Positioning: Place the Rollodrive 55 mounting bracket against the wall or window reveal, aligning it with the existing belt opening. The hole spacing for mounting is 230 mm.
- Marking and Drilling: Mark the drilling points through the bracket. Drill holes suitable for the provided wall plugs and screws.
- Secure Bracket: Insert wall plugs and securely fasten the mounting bracket to the wall using the screws.
- Install Device: Attach the Rollodrive 55 unit to the mounted bracket. Ensure the roller shutter belt is correctly threaded through the device.
- Connect Power: Plug the power cable into the device and then into a suitable power outlet.

5.2 Initial Setup
