Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the grinder for any damage.
- Placement: Place the grinder on a stable, level surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
- Bean Hopper Installation: Place the bean hopper onto the top of the grinder. Ensure it is securely seated.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet (120 Volts).

Operating Instructions
- Filling the Bean Hopper: Lift the hopper lid and pour whole coffee beans into the hopper. The hopper has a shut-off mechanism for mess-free bean changes.

- Adjusting Grind Settings: The Forte BG offers 260 grind settings. Use the macro adjustment lever (1-10) on the right side for broad changes and the micro adjustment lever (A-Z) on the left side for fine-tuning.

- Using the Touchscreen Display: The digital touchscreen allows for time-based or weight-based grinding.
- Select Time or Weight mode.
- Adjust the desired time (in seconds) or weight (in grams) using the up/down arrows.
- Save up to three custom presets (1, 2, 3) for quick access.
- Press Start to begin grinding.

- Collection Container: The ground coffee is dispensed into the collection container located at the front of the grinder. This container slides in and out easily for removal.
Maintenance
- Cleaning the Burrs: The Forte BG uses 54mm steel flat burrs. Regular cleaning is essential for consistent grind quality.
- Unplug the grinder before cleaning.
- Remove the bean hopper.
- Use the included burr removal tool to carefully remove the upper burr.
- Brush away any accumulated coffee grounds from both burrs and the grinding chamber.
- Reinstall the burrs and hopper securely.
