4. Setup

4.1. Charging the Gamepad

Before initial use, fully charge the gamepad. Connect the Micro USB charging cable to the gamepad's charging port and the other end to a USB power source (e.g., PC USB port, USB wall adapter). The LED indicator will show charging status.

• Charging Indicator: The light will blink slowly while charging.
• Fully Charged Indicator: The light will remain static (solid) once charging is complete.

A full charge provides approximately 5-7 hours of working game time.

4.2. Connecting the 2.4GHz USB Receiver

The Tronsmart Mars G01 uses a 2.4GHz wireless connection via a dedicated USB receiver.

1. Insert the 2.4GHz USB receiver into an available USB port on your Android device (via OTG cable if needed), PC, or PS3 console.
2. Ensure the device recognizes the USB receiver.

4.3. Powering On/Off and Connecting

• Power On: Hold the T/Power button for 1-2 seconds.
• Connecting: After powering on, the gamepad will automatically search for the receiver. If already connected, the first Bluetooth indicator will be on. If not, press the T/Power button for 5 seconds to search for signals and connect to the receiver again.
• Power Off: Hold the T/Power button for 3-5 seconds until the indicators turn off.

5. Operating Modes

The Tronsmart Mars G01 supports multiple operating modes to ensure compatibility with various devices and game types. To switch modes, hold the designated button (X, A, or Y) and then press the Home/T button.

5.1. Gamepad Mode (Xinput)

This mode is ideal for modern PC games that support Xinput (Xbox 360 controller standard) and HID games on Android.

1. Press and hold the X button.
2. While holding X, press the Home/T button.
3. The gamepad will enter Gamepad Mode. The first indicator light will illuminate.
4. For Android devices, you may need to go to your device's Bluetooth settings (even though it's 2.4G wireless, some Android systems categorize it similarly) to search for and pair the device.

In this mode, you can play HID games directly, such as Shadowgun, Dead Trigger, Samurai Shodown, etc.

5.2. Keyboard Mode (Dinput)

This mode is suitable for older PC games, various emulator game platforms, and games that require keyboard input.

1. Press and hold the A button.
2. While holding A, press the Home/T button.
3. The gamepad will enter Keyboard Mode.

In this mode, you can often customize button mappings within the game or emulator settings.

This mode is designed for specific applications or games that require a unique input configuration, often found on Android platforms.

1. Press and hold the Y button.
2. While holding Y, press the Home/T button.
