1. Safety Information

WARNING: To avoid electric shock, always shut off power at the fuse or circuit breaker before installation, servicing, or changing bulbs. Ensure all electrical connections comply with local codes and ordinances. If you are unsure about installation, consult a qualified electrician.

This product must be installed in accordance with the applicable installation code by a person familiar with the construction and operation of the product and the hazards involved.

2. Product Overview

The Livex Lighting Aero 2-Light Bath Light (Model 10102-05) features a sleek, contemporary design suitable for various bathroom aesthetics. It provides soft, diffused light through tubular etched opal glass shades. This fixture can be mounted either horizontally or vertically to suit your preference and space requirements.

3. Components List

Carefully unpack all parts and check for any damage. Retain all packaging material until you are satisfied with the product. The following components are typically included:

4. Setup and Installation

Before You Begin: Ensure the power is OFF at the circuit breaker. Read all instructions carefully before proceeding.

Assembling the Fixture (Refer to Fig. 1 in the diagram):

  1. Shut off power at the circuit breaker. Remove old fixture and all hardware from the junction box.
  2. Unpack your new fixture and lay out all parts on a clean, clear area. Take care not to lose any small parts necessary for installation.
  3. Thread the two mounting screws about 1/4" into the pre-drilled holes in the mounting plate, spaced to match the distance apart as the holes in the fixture back plate. Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using two junction box screws as shown. The side of the mounting plate marked "GND" must face out. The junction box is not included.
  4. Guide fixture wires through the hole in the center of the mounting plate.
  5. Follow wiring instructions carefully (see Fig. 2).
  6. Raise the lamp body(B) onto the mounting plate, aligning the holes with mounting screws, then lock it securely with the ball nuts(C).
  7. Install the light bulbs (not included) in accordance with the fixture's specifications. NOTE: DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING!
  8. Raise the glass(A) and insert it over the lamp holder, then twist it clockwise until tight.

Connecting the Wires (Refer to Fig. 2 in the diagram):

  1. Connect the electrical wires as follows: Connect the Black wire from the fixture to the black house (hot) wire. Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) house wire. Make sure all wire nuts are secured. If your outlet box has a ground wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture's ground wire to it. Otherwise, attach the bare copper fixture wire to the green ground screw on the mounting plate.
  2. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the wall junction box.

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the junction box and test the fixture.

5. Operating Instructions

The Livex Lighting Aero 2-Light Bath Light operates via a standard wall switch. Ensure the fixture is properly installed and wired according to the instructions in Section 4. Once power is restored to the circuit, use the wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.

This fixture is compatible with toggle switches, as indicated in the product specifications.

6. Maintenance

To maintain the appearance and functionality of your Livex Lighting Aero 2-Light Bath Light, follow these guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Always turn off power before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the fixture. For polished chrome finishes, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, followed by immediate drying to prevent water spots. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or polishes as they may damage the finish.
  • Glass Shades: The satin opal white glass shades can be gently wiped with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure they are completely dry before reattaching.
  • Bulb Replacement: Ensure power is off before replacing bulbs. Allow bulbs to cool completely before handling. Use only E12 base bulbs with a maximum wattage of 60 watts per bulb.
  • Inspection: Periodically check for any loose connections or signs of wear. If any issues are found, consult a qualified electrician.

7. Troubleshooting

If your Livex Lighting Aero 2-Light Bath Light is not functioning correctly, refer to the following common issues and solutions:
