4.2. Setting the Date
- Pull the crown out to position 1 (the first click).
- Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.

The chronograph function allows you to measure elapsed time.
- Start: Press pusher A to start the chronograph. The chronograph second hand will begin to move.

5. Operating
5.1. Water Resistance Guidelines
Your ICE-Watch CH.BTE.B.S.14 is water-resistant up to 100 meters (10 ATM). This means it is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. However, it is not recommended for diving. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before exposing the watch to water. Do not operate the crown or pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.
5.2. General Use
Avoid exposing your watch to extreme temperatures, strong magnetic fields, or sudden impacts. The watch is designed for daily wear and sports activities within its water resistance limits.
6. Maintenance
6.1. Cleaning
To clean your watch, wipe the case and strap with a soft, damp cloth. For silicone straps, mild soap and water can be used. Ensure the watch is completely dry before wearing. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
6.2. Battery Replacement
The watch is powered by a product-specific battery. When the battery runs low, the watch may stop or the second hand may jump in irregular intervals. Battery replacement should be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure proper sealing and water resistance. Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself.
6.3. Storage
When not in use, store your watch in its original presentation box or a soft pouch to protect it from dust and scratches. Keep it away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
- Watch not running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
- Date not changing: Ensure the time is set correctly, especially the AM/PM cycle. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM.
- Water ingress: If moisture appears inside the watch, immediately take it to a service center. Do not attempt to dry it yourself.
- Chronograph hands not resetting to zero: This may require a chronograph reset procedure, which typically involves pulling the crown out and pressing the pushers in a specific sequence. Refer to a professional watch technician if the issue persists.
