Setup

  1. Initial Charge: Before first use, place the toothbrush handle on the charging base and allow it to charge for a full 24 hours in a working outlet. The battery light indicator will show when the handle is fully charged.
  2. Attach Brush Head: Align the brush head with the handle and push it down firmly. The brush head should snap securely into place.

Operating Instructions

  1. Apply Toothpaste: Wet the brush head and apply a pea-sized amount of toothpaste.
  2. Position Brush: Place the brush head against your teeth at a 45-degree angle, aiming at the gum line. Do not turn on the brush until it is in your mouth to prevent splashing.
  3. Start Brushing: Press the power button to start. The Easy-Start feature will gradually increase the brush power over the first 14 uses to help you adapt.
  4. Brush Gently: Slowly glide the brush from tooth to tooth, allowing the sonic action to clean. You do not need to apply extra pressure; the brush does the work. Ensure all surfaces of your teeth, including the back teeth, tops, and insides (both upper and lower), are cleaned.
  5. Use SmarTimer: The SmarTimer will automatically turn off the toothbrush after 2 minutes, indicating the completion of the dentist-recommended brushing time. The Quadpacer interval timer will signal every 30 seconds to move to a different quadrant of your mouth.
  6. Rinse and Store: After brushing, rinse the brush head thoroughly and store the toothbrush in a dry place.

Maintenance

  • Charging: Recharge the toothbrush when the two-color battery charge indicator shows it's necessary. A full charge provides approximately two weeks of brushing (twice a day).
  • Brush Head Replacement: For optimal performance and hygiene, replace your brush head every 3 months, or sooner if the bristles become frayed.
  • Cleaning: Regularly rinse the brush head and handle under running water. Ensure no toothpaste residue accumulates in the crevices between the brush head and handle.

Troubleshooting

  • Toothbrush not turning on: Ensure the toothbrush has been charged for the recommended 24 hours initially. Check if the charging base is properly plugged into a working outlet.
  • Brush head feels loose: Ensure the brush head is firmly snapped onto the handle. If the issue persists with a new brush head, contact customer support.
  • Reduced battery life: Over time, rechargeable batteries may experience reduced capacity. Ensure the toothbrush is fully charged regularly. If battery life significantly diminishes, consider contacting customer support for potential replacement options.
