Setup
- Ensure the heating pad is covered with the provided fleece cover.
- Plug the power cord into a standard 110V electrical outlet.
- Place the heating pad over the area of your body you wish to treat.
Operating Instructions
- Power On: Gently press the power button (usually marked with a circle and vertical line) on the digital controller to switch the unit on.
- Set Temperature and Time: Use the "Select" button and the "Up" and "Down" arrows on the controller to set your desired treatment temperature and time. The temperature range is typically 121°F to 151°F (49.4°C to 66.1°C). The timer can be set in one-minute increments up to one hour.
- Heating Process: The pad will begin to heat up. It takes several minutes to reach the set temperature.

Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and effectiveness of your heating pad:
- Cleaning the Cover: The fleece cover is washable. Refer to the care label on the cover for specific washing instructions. Always remove the cover from the heating pad before washing.
- Cleaning the Pad: Do not immerse the heating pad or controller in water. If cleaning the pad itself is necessary, wipe it gently with a damp cloth and allow it to air dry completely before storage or next use.
- Storage: Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, high temperatures, and high humidity. Do not twist or tightly wrap the power cord around the controller or pad during storage.
- Moisture Generation: The pad draws moisture from the air. If you notice it is not producing sufficient moist heat, you may hang it in a humid environment (like a bathroom after a shower) to allow it to absorb more humidity.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your BodyMed Digital Moist Heating Pad, consider the following:
- Pad Not Heating:
- Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working 110V outlet.
- Verify the unit is powered on and the temperature setting is active.
- Check if the timer has expired, as the unit will automatically shut off.
- Inspect the power cord and controller for any visible damage. Do not use if damaged.
- Display Not Working:
- Ensure the unit is properly plugged in and powered on.
- If the display remains blank, unplug the unit for a few minutes and then plug it back in to reset.
- Insufficient Moist Heat:
- The pad draws moisture from the air. If your environment is very dry, the pad may produce less moisture. Try hanging the pad in a more humid area for a period to allow it to absorb moisture.
If problems persist after attempting these troubleshooting steps, please contact BodyMed customer support for assistance.
