Setup and Operation

Follow these steps to set up and operate your BodyMed Digital Moist Heating Pad:

Setup

  1. Ensure the heating pad is covered with the provided fleece cover.
  2. Plug the power cord into a standard 110V electrical outlet.
  3. Place the heating pad over the area of your body you wish to treat.

Operating Instructions

  1. Power On: Gently press the power button (usually marked with a circle and vertical line) on the digital controller to switch the unit on.
  2. Set Temperature and Time: Use the "Select" button and the "Up" and "Down" arrows on the controller to set your desired treatment temperature and time. The temperature range is typically 121°F to 151°F (49.4°C to 66.1°C). The timer can be set in one-minute increments up to one hour.
  3. Heating Process: The pad will begin to heat up. It takes several minutes to reach the set temperature.
  4. Lock Controls: To prevent accidental changes during treatment, press the "Lock" button (often indicated by a padlock icon) on the controller. This feature keeps your settings secure.
  5. Automatic Shut-Off: When the set time expires, the power will automatically shut off, accompanied by an audible beep.
  6. Memory Function: The latest temperature and time settings will be automatically memorized when you turn the product off. To return to the initial factory settings, unplug the unit from the outlet.

For normal treatment, a 15-minute cycle is often sufficient. A total treatment duration of about 30 minutes is generally recommended.
