Setup
1. Power Source Connection
The UF18DSDL(NN) fan can be powered by a HiKOKI 14.4V or 18V lithium-ion battery (sold separately) or by the included AC adapter.
- Battery Operation: Insert a charged 14.4V or 18V HiKOKI battery into the battery slot until it clicks into place.
- AC Operation: Connect the supplied AC adapter to the fan's AC input port, then plug the adapter into a standard 100V AC outlet.

2. Placement Options
The fan offers flexible placement:
- Freestanding: Place the fan on a flat, stable surface using its bottom handle as a stand.
- Hanging/Wall Mounting: Utilize the integrated wall hanging hooks or strap holes (4 locations) to hang the fan from pipes (up to φ48.6mm) or mount it on a wall. Ensure it is securely fastened to prevent falling.

Operating Instructions
1. Power On/Off
Press the power button to turn the fan on or off.
2. Airflow Mode Selection
The fan features a two-stage airflow switch:
- Strong Mode: Provides maximum airflow of 190 m/min.
- Weak Mode: Provides a gentler airflow of 120 m/min, ideal for extended use (approx. 21 hours with BSL1850 battery).
3. Angle Adjustment
Manually adjust the fan head to direct airflow. The angle can be set upwards by 60 degrees and downwards by 30 degrees, with 15-degree incremental stops.
