Introduction to MiP
The MiP Robot is an interactive toy robot designed by WowWee. It features unique dual-wheel balancing, allowing it to navigate its surroundings with fast speeds and precise turns. MiP communicates its inquisitive and responsive personality through motion, sounds, and RGB LED eyes. It can be controlled via hand gestures or a dedicated smartphone application, offering a variety of play modes and interactive experiences.

What's in the Box
Your MiP Robot package includes the following items:

Setup
Battery Installation
The MiP Robot requires 4 AAA batteries (not included). To install the batteries:
- Locate the battery compartment on the robot.
- Use a small Phillips head screwdriver to open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 4 fresh AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
Initial Power-On
After installing batteries, turn on your MiP Robot using the power switch, usually located on its back or bottom. MiP will perform a brief startup sequence.
Operating Modes and Features
MiP offers multiple robotic modes and features for diverse interactive play:
- Roam Mode: MiP navigates its environment autonomously, avoiding obstacles.
- Tracking Mode: MiP can follow hand gestures or objects.
- Dance Mode: MiP dances to music, showcasing its balancing abilities.
- Tricks Mode: Program MiP to perform a sequence of movements.
- Stack Mode: Challenge MiP to balance multiple objects on its tray while moving or standing still.
- Programming Mode: Use the app to create custom movement sequences.

App Control
Enhance your MiP experience by downloading the free MiP app on your compatible iOS or Android smartphone. The app unlocks additional features and control options:
- Drive: Directly control MiP's movement using virtual joysticks.
- Path: Draw a path on your screen for MiP to follow.
- Dance: Select various dance routines for MiP.
- Boxing/Battle: Engage in virtual boxing matches or battles with other MiP robots.
- Stack: Play stacking games with MiP.
- Cans: Interact with virtual cans that influence MiP's mood and actions.

Hand Gesture Control
MiP is equipped with GestureSense technology, allowing it to respond to specific hand motions. You can command MiP to move forward, backward, turn, or perform other actions simply by waving your hand in front of its sensors. Experiment with different gestures to discover all the commands MiP can recognize.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your MiP Robot, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe MiP with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Battery Care: Remove batteries if MiP will not be used for an extended period to prevent leakage. Always use fresh, high-quality AAA batteries.
- Storage: Store MiP in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Avoid Water: MiP is not waterproof. Keep it away from water or any liquids.
Troubleshooting
If your MiP Robot is not functioning as expected, try the following:
- No Power: Check if the batteries are correctly installed and have sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- App Connection Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone and MiP is within range. Restart both the app and MiP if connection fails.
- Unresponsive to Gestures: Ensure there are no obstructions between your hand and MiP's sensors. Try performing gestures clearly and at a moderate distance.
- Balancing Issues: Ensure MiP is on a flat, smooth surface. Check for any debris in the wheels.

Warranty and Support
The MiP Robot carries a manufacturer warranty of 90 days against manufacturer defects. Please note that returns or exchanges are not accepted unless the product is defective. You have 2 days from the date of receipt to notify us that the product is defective. Refunds will be processed AFTER the product has been received and inspected. The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and an additional 25% of the total if the product is found to be in working order.
