3.2 Speaker Connection

1. Connect the speaker cables from the SB-PM77 speakers to the corresponding speaker terminals on the rear of the SA-PM77MD main unit. Ensure correct polarity (red to red, black to black).
2. Position the speakers for optimal sound, typically equidistant from the listening position.

3.3 Antenna Connection

• Connect the supplied FM antenna to the FM antenna terminal. Extend it fully for better reception.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Basic Operation

• Power On/Off: Press the [POWER] button on the main unit or remote control.
• Volume Adjustment: Rotate the [VOLUME] knob on the main unit or use the [VOLUME +/-] buttons on the remote control.

4.2 CD Playback

The system features a 5-CD changer for continuous playback.

1. Press the [CD] button to select the CD function.
2. Press [OPEN/CLOSE] to open the CD tray. Insert up to five CDs.
3. Press [PLAY] to start playback. Use [CD 1] to [CD 5] buttons to select a specific disc.
4. Use [SKIP] buttons to navigate tracks.

4.3 MD Playback and Recording

The system supports MD playback and high-speed recording from CD.

1. Press the [MD] button to select the MD function.
2. Insert an MD into the MD slot.
3. Press [PLAY] to start playback.
4. CD to MD Recording: Load CDs, select the desired CD, then press the [REC] button while in MD mode. The system supports up to 5x speed recording from CD to MD.

4.4 Cassette Playback and Recording

1. Press the [TAPE] button to select the cassette function.
2. Open the cassette deck and insert a cassette tape.
3. Press [PLAY] to start playback.
4. Recording: Press [REC] to begin recording from another source (e.g., CD, MD, Radio).

4.5 Radio Operation (FM/AM)

1. Press the [FM/AM] button to select the radio tuner.
