- Storage: If storing the speakers for an extended period, disconnect them from power and store them in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Z213 speakers, refer to the following common solutions.
No Sound:
- Ensure the speakers are powered on (green LED on control pod).
- Check all cable connections, especially the 3.5mm audio cable to your device and the power cable.
- Verify the volume on the control pod is turned up.
- Confirm your audio source (PC, smartphone) is playing audio and its volume is not muted or too low.
- If headphones are plugged into the control pod, unplug them to enable speaker output.
Distorted or Unclear Sound:
- Reduce the volume on both the control pod and your audio source. High volume levels can cause distortion.
- Check for loose connections.
- Ensure the speakers are not placed too close to other electronic devices that might cause interference.
No Bass or Weak Bass:
- Adjust the bass control knob on the back of the subwoofer.
- Ensure the subwoofer is properly connected to the satellite speakers and power.
- Check the subwoofer's placement; obstructions or placement in a corner can affect bass output.
