2. Safety Instructions
To ensure safe operation and prevent damage, observe the following precautions:
- Power Source: Connect the unit only to the specified AC 120V power supply. Ensure the power cord is not damaged or pinched.
- Ventilation: Do not block any ventilation openings. Maintain adequate space around the speakers for proper airflow to prevent overheating.
- Water and Moisture: Do not expose the speakers to rain, moisture, or dripping/splashing liquids. Do not place objects filled with liquids, such as vases, on the apparatus.
- Heat: Keep the speakers away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Cleaning: Unplug the unit from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a dry cloth for cleaning. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.
- Servicing: Do not attempt to service this product yourself. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- Placement: Place the speakers on a stable, flat surface to prevent them from falling.
- Hearing Protection: Avoid prolonged listening at high volume levels to prevent hearing damage.

4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your QFX SBX-61101 speaker system:
- Speaker Placement: Place the active and passive speakers in your desired location. Ensure they are on a stable, flat surface. For optimal stereo sound, position them at an equal distance from the listening area.
- Connect Passive Speaker: Use the provided speaker connection cable to link the active speaker to the passive speaker. Locate the speaker output terminals on the active speaker and the input terminals on the passive speaker. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -).
- Connect Microphone: Insert the microphone cable into the designated microphone input jack on the active speaker's control panel.
- Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the active speaker's power input and then plug it into a standard AC 120V wall outlet.
- Initial Power On: Turn the master volume knob to its minimum setting before powering on the unit to avoid sudden loud sounds. Press the power button on the active speaker to turn it on.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- To power on the speaker system, press the POWER button on the active speaker's control panel.
- To power off, press the POWER button again.
5.2 Volume Control
- Adjust the master volume using the large knob on the active speaker's control panel or via the remote control.
- Individual volume controls for microphone and echo effects may also be available on the control panel.
5.3 Bluetooth Connectivity
- Ensure the speaker is powered on.
- Press the MODE button on the control panel or remote control until "Bluetooth" mode is selected. The display will show "BT" or a similar indicator, and a pairing tone may sound.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to the Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select "QFX SBX-61101" (or similar name) from the list.
- Once paired, a confirmation tone will sound, and you can now stream audio wirelessly from your device to the speakers.
5.4 USB Playback
- Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB port on the active speaker's control panel.
- Press the MODE button until "USB" mode is selected. The speaker will automatically begin playing MP3 files from the USB drive.
- Use the PLAY/PAUSE, NEXT, and PREVIOUS buttons on the control panel or remote control to manage playback.
5.5 Microphone Usage
- Ensure the microphone is connected to the microphone input jack.
- Adjust the microphone volume and echo effect using the dedicated knobs on the control panel.
- Speak directly into the microphone for clear sound projection.
5.6 Disco Lights
- The speakers feature integrated rotating disco lights.
- A dedicated button on the control panel or remote control typically controls the lights. Press it to turn the lights on or off.
6. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity of your speaker system.
- Cleaning: Disconnect the power cord before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the speakers. Do not use abrasive cleaners, waxes, or solvents as they may damage the finish.
- Dust Removal: Regularly dust the speaker grilles and ventilation openings to prevent dust buildup, which can affect performance and cause overheating.
- Storage: If storing the speakers for an extended period, unplug them from the power outlet and store them in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
- Cable Care: Avoid bending or crimping the power and speaker cables excessively. Inspect cables periodically for any signs of damage.
