- VERSATILE LIGHTING SOLUTION: Features DMX Channel modes, built-in color macros, and 5 selectable dim curves. The COB Dotz Par can operate in various modes including pulse, strobe, and sound active.
- LONG-LASTING LED BULBS: Powered by professional grade TRI RGB LED with a rating of 50,000 hours of operation, ensuring a durable, lifelong lighting solution.
- PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS: Includes 3-Pin XLR connectors, IEC in/out to link multiple fixtures, Wired Digital Communication Network, 32 built-in color macros, and a 4-button LCD DMX Display. The unit weighs 5 lbs. and is ETL Approved.
Setup Instructions
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the fixture from its packaging. Inspect for any damage during shipping.
- Mounting: Securely mount the DOTZ PAR using its integrated yoke. Ensure the mounting surface or truss system can support the fixture's weight (approximately 4.4 pounds). Use appropriate clamps and safety cables (not included).
- Power Connection: Connect the provided IEC power cable to the "Power In" port on the rear of the fixture. Plug the other end into a compatible 120V AC power outlet. Multiple fixtures can be linked using the IEC in/out ports, but observe maximum power limits.
- DMX Connection (Optional): For DMX control, connect a 3-pin XLR cable from your DMX controller to the "DMX IN" port on the fixture. If linking multiple fixtures, connect from "DMX OUT" of the first fixture to "DMX IN" of the next.
- Lens Installation: The fixture comes with a 60-degree beam projection. A 25-degree lens is included for a narrower beam. To change the lens, refer to the specific instructions in the separate lens installation guide (if provided with the product).

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your ADJ DOTZ PAR Light.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the fixture with a soft, lint-free cloth. For the lens, use a soft cloth and a non-abrasive glass cleaner. Ensure the fixture is powered off and disconnected before cleaning.
- Ventilation: Ensure that the ventilation openings are clear of dust and debris to prevent overheating. Do not block the fan or vents.
- Internal Components: For advanced maintenance or replacement of internal components (e.g., LED PCB), it is recommended to contact qualified service personnel or ADJ Products support. Attempting repairs without proper knowledge may void the warranty and cause further damage.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| No Power | Power cable disconnected; no power from outlet; blown fuse. | Check power cable connection. Test outlet with another device. Check and replace fuse if necessary (refer to fuse specifications). |
| No DMX Control | Incorrect DMX address; faulty DMX cable; DMX controller issue; DMX termination missing. | Verify DMX address matches controller. Test DMX cable. Ensure DMX controller is functioning. Add a DMX terminator to the last fixture in the chain. |
| Inconsistent Color Output / Missing Colors | Internal LED component failure; DMX signal interference. | If a specific color (e.g., green) is consistently missing or inconsistent, this may indicate an internal LED PCB issue. Contact ADJ Products support for repair or replacement. Check DMX cabling for proper shielding and connections. |
| Fixture Overheating | Blocked ventilation; prolonged use at high intensity in hot environment. | Ensure all ventilation openings are clear. Allow adequate space around the fixture for airflow. Reduce intensity or allow cool-down periods if operating in extreme conditions. |
