Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the air cooler from its packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Positioning: Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate space around the unit for proper airflow.
  3. Filling the Water Tank:
    • Pull out the water tank from the bottom rear of the unit.
    • Fill the tank with clean tap water. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line.
    • For enhanced cooling, place the included ice packs (after freezing) into the water tank.
    • Slide the water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place.
  4. Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (230V, 50Hz).

Operating Instructions

The DOMO DO152A can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel / Remote Control Functions:

  • ON/OFF: Press to turn the unit on or off.
  • SPEED: Cycles through 3 fan speeds: Low, Medium, High.
  • MODE: Selects between 3 operating modes:
    • Normal: Constant fan speed.
    • Natural: Simulates natural breeze with varying fan speeds.
    • Sleep: Gradually reduces fan speed for quiet operation during sleep.
  • SWING: Activates or deactivates the automatic oscillation of the vertical louvers for wider air distribution.
  • TIMER: Sets the operating time from 0.5 to 7.5 hours in 0.5-hour increments. The unit will automatically turn off after the set time.
  • COOLER/HUMIDIFIER: Activates or deactivates the water pump for evaporative cooling/humidification. Ensure the water tank is filled when using this function.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air cooler. Always unplug the unit before cleaning.

Cleaning the Exterior:

  • Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

Cleaning the Water Tank:

  • Remove the water tank from the unit.
  • Empty any remaining water.
  • Clean the tank with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly to remove all soap residue.
  • Allow the tank to air dry completely before reinserting.

Cleaning the Air Filter and Honeycomb Membrane:

  • Locate the air filter at the rear of the unit (behind the water tank).
  • Carefully remove the filter and the honeycomb cooling membrane.
  • Rinse both under running water to remove dust and debris. For stubborn dirt, use a soft brush.
  • Allow them to dry completely before reassembling.
