Setup Instructions

  1. Connect the Handset: Plug one end of the coiled cord into the handset and the other end into the handset jack on the side of the phone base unit.
  2. Connect to Telephone Line: Plug one end of the main line cord into the LINE jack on the back of the phone base unit and the other end into your telephone wall jack.
  3. Power Connection: The phone is powered by the telephone line. No external power adapter is typically required for basic operation. However, for optimal performance of features like LCD backlight and speakerphone, ensure batteries (not included) are inserted if the model supports them.
  4. Initial Check: Lift the handset and listen for a dial tone. If no dial tone is heard, recheck all connections.

Operating Instructions

Making a Call

  1. Lift the handset or press the SPEAKER button.
  2. Dial the desired phone number.
  3. Wait for the call to connect.

Receiving a Call

  1. When the phone rings, lift the handset or press the SPEAKER button to answer.
  2. To end the call, place the handset back on the cradle or press the SPEAKER button again if in speakerphone mode.

Using the Speakerphone

  • During a call, press the SPEAKER button to activate the speakerphone.
  • Adjust the speaker volume using the dedicated volume control buttons.
  • To switch back to the handset, simply lift the handset.

Phonebook and Memory Dialing
