Setup

1. Unpacking and Placement:

   Carefully remove the DVD player and all accessories from the packaging. Place the unit on a stable, level surface with adequate ventilation. Avoid placing it near heat sources or in direct sunlight.

2. Connecting to your TV:

   Connect the DVD player to your television using an HDMI cable for optimal 1080p up-converted video and audio. Insert one end of the HDMI cable into the HDMI OUT port on the DVD player and the other end into an available HDMI IN port on your TV.

   For older TVs, you may use RCA audio/video cables (not included) by connecting the corresponding color-coded jacks (yellow for video, red for right audio, white for left audio) from the DVD player to your TV.

3. Power Connection:

   Plug the power cord into the AC IN jack on the back of the DVD player, then plug the other end into a wall outlet.

4. Initial Power On:

   Press the power button on the front of the unit or on the remote control to turn on the DVD player. Switch your TV's input source to the corresponding HDMI or AV input where the DVD player is connected.

Operating Instructions

1. Loading a Disc:

   Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the remote or the eject button on the unit to open the disc tray. Place a DVD or CD disc gently onto the tray with the label side facing up. Press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray.

2. Playback:

   The player will typically begin playback automatically. If not, press the PLAY/PAUSE button on the remote or the unit.

3. Using the Remote Control:

   The remote control provides full functionality for the DVD player. Key buttons include:

   • Power (Red button): Turns the unit on or off.
   • OPEN/CLOSE: Opens and closes the disc tray.
   • PLAY/PAUSE: Starts or pauses playback.
   • STOP: Stops playback.
   • SKIP (<< / >>): Skips to the previous or next track/chapter.
   • SEARCH (<< / >>): Fast forwards or rewinds.
   • SETUP: Accesses the player's settings menu.
   • MENU/TOP MENU: Navigates disc menus.

4. USB Playback:

   Insert a USB memory device into the USB port on the front of the player. Use the remote control to select the USB input. Navigate through your media files (photos, music, videos) using the arrow buttons and press OK to play.

5. 1080p Up-conversion:

   The player automatically up-converts standard definition DVDs to 1080p resolution when connected via HDMI to a compatible TV. This feature enhances visual clarity and detail.

6. Dolby Digital Sound:

Maintenance

• Cleaning the Unit:
