Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and longevity of your machine.

Daily Cleaning:

Descaling:

The machine has an integrated descaling reminder. When the descaling indicator lights up, it's time to descale. Descaling regularly (e.g., every 3-6 months depending on water hardness and usage) is crucial for maintaining machine performance and preventing damage.

  1. Empty the water tank, drip tray, and capsule container.
  2. Fill the water tank with a descaling solution according to the descaler manufacturer's instructions.
  3. Place a large container (at least 1.5L) under the coffee spout and milk frother nozzle.
  4. Follow the specific descaling procedure outlined in the full manual (usually involves pressing a combination of buttons or holding a button for a few seconds to start the descaling program).
  5. After the descaling cycle, rinse the water tank thoroughly and fill it with fresh water. Run 2-3 rinse cycles to remove any descaler residue.
