Setup and Installation
Before beginning installation, ensure you have the necessary tools: a measuring tape, pencil, drill, and appropriate drill bits.
Installation Steps:
- Measure and Mark: Determine the desired location for the pull on your cabinet door or drawer. The pull requires two mounting holes with a center-to-center spacing of 3 inches. Carefully measure and mark these two points on your cabinet surface.
- Drill Pilot Holes: Using a drill bit appropriate for your cabinet material and screw size, carefully drill pilot holes at the marked locations. Ensure the holes are straight and do not penetrate through the front of the cabinet if installing on a drawer face.
- Position the Pull: Align the tab pull with the drilled holes. The pull is designed to sit flush against the top or side edge of the cabinet door or drawer, with the tab extending over the edge.
- Secure with Screws: Insert the provided mounting screws through the back of the cabinet door or drawer and into the threaded holes on the pull. Tighten the screws until the pull is firmly secured.
Important Note: Some users have reported that the included screws may be soft and prone to snapping. It is recommended to exercise caution when tightening or consider using alternative, higher-quality screws if you encounter issues.

Operating the Pull
The Europa Tab Pull is designed for a minimalist aesthetic. To open a cabinet door or drawer, gently grasp the lip of the pull and apply outward force. Due to its sleek design, the grasping lip is minimal.
Maintenance and Care
To maintain the finish and appearance of your Top Knobs Europa Tab Pull, follow these guidelines:
- Cleaning: Wipe the pull regularly with a soft, damp cloth. For more thorough cleaning, use a mild soap solution and immediately dry with a clean, soft cloth.
- Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Do not use abrasive cleaners, ammonia-based products, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish.
- Inspection: Periodically check the tightness of the mounting screws. If they become loose, gently tighten them to ensure the pull remains secure.
Troubleshooting
- Pull is Loose: If the pull feels loose, gently tighten the mounting screws from the inside of the cabinet door or drawer. Avoid over-tightening.
- Difficulty Grasping: The Europa Tab Pull features a minimal projection (1-5/8 inches) and a slim profile (1/16 inch width). This design contributes to its modern aesthetic but may require a different grip compared to traditional pulls.
- Screws Snapped During Installation: If a mounting screw snaps, carefully remove the broken screw portion if possible. Replace with a new, high-quality screw of the appropriate size and thread type.
