Setup and Battery Installation
The SpyX Night Ranger Set requires 5 AAA batteries for operation. Some components may include LR43 batteries, but additional AAA batteries are needed.
Battery Installation Steps:
- Locate the battery compartments on each device (Night Mission Goggles, Motion Alarm, Voice Disguiser, Invisible Ink Pen).
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included), open the battery compartment cover.
- Insert the required batteries (AAA or LR43 as specified for each component) ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
Caution: Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries. Always remove exhausted batteries promptly.
Operating Instructions
1. Night Mission Goggles
These goggles are designed for enhanced visibility in low-light conditions and daytime observation.
- Wearing the Goggles: Adjust the strap for a comfortable and secure fit.
- Activating Night Vision: Locate the power switch or button to activate the twin light beams. These lights illuminate your immediate surroundings, allowing you to see up to 25 feet in the dark.
- Daytime Scope: A special flip-out scope is included for daytime use, providing a magnified view for observation.

2. Micro Motion Alarm
Use the motion alarm to secure an area and detect movement or vibration.
- Placement: Position the alarm in an area you wish to monitor, such as near a door, window, or valuable item.
- Activation: Turn on the alarm. It will enter an armed state.
- Detection: The alarm uses a vibration sensor to detect movement up to 1.5 meters. When triggered, it will emit an alert sound.

Maintenance
