3. Setup
3.1. Installation
Due to the complexity of car audio and navigation systems, professional installation by a qualified technician is highly recommended. Incorrect installation can lead to damage to the device or your vehicle's electrical system. Ensure all power connections are secure and properly insulated.
3.2. Initial Power-On
After installation, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The system should power on automatically. The first boot may take slightly longer as the system initializes.
3.3. Basic Settings
Upon first use, you may be prompted to set the language, time zone, and date. Navigate through the on-screen menus to configure these settings according to your preferences. Refer to the "Options" or "Settings" menu for further customization.

3.4. Navigation Map Activation
The iGo-Primo 3D navigation software includes a Latest Map Guarantee for 30 days after initial activation. To activate and ensure you have the most current maps, visit www.naviextras.com and follow the instructions provided. You will need to register your device and download any available updates.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Main Interface and Applications
The system features a touch-sensitive screen. Tap on the desired icon to launch an application. The main interface provides access to functions such as Navigation, Music, DVD, Radio, Bluetooth, iPod, Movie, and other applications.

4.2. Navigation System
Tap the "Navigator" icon to launch the iGo-Primo 3D navigation software. Enter your destination using the on-screen keyboard. The system will calculate the optimal route and provide turn-by-turn voice guidance (TTTS) and visual cues. Traffic Message Channel (TMCpro) functionality provides real-time traffic information to help avoid congestion.

4.3. Audio and Multimedia Playback
Access music, videos, and other media through the "Music", "DVD", "Movie", "Audio", or "Files" applications. The system supports playback from DVD/CD, USB drives, microSD cards, and external AUX inputs. Supported formats include MP3, WMA, MPEG4, AVI, DivX, and more.

4.4. Radio Operation (AM/FM/DAB+)
Select the "Radio" or "TV/DAB+" icon to access radio functions. For AM/FM, use the tuning controls to find stations. The RDS (Radio Data System) feature displays station information where available. For DAB+, select the "DAB+" option to scan for and select digital radio stations, offering improved sound quality and additional information.
4.5. Bluetooth Connectivity
Tap the "Bluetooth" icon to access the Bluetooth menu. To pair a new device:
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your mobile phone.
- On the ESX system, select "Pair Device" or similar option.
- Search for available devices on your phone and select "ESX VN710-LX-CT200H-DAB".
- Confirm the pairing code on both devices if prompted.
Once paired, you can make and receive hands-free calls, synchronize your phonebook, and stream audio (A2DP) from your phone to the system.

4.6. Audio Settings and Equalizer
Navigate to the "Audio" or "Settings" menu to access the DSP audio processor and 9-band equalizer. Adjust frequency bands to customize the sound output to your preference. Preset equalizer modes (e.g., Classical, Jazz, Pop, Rock) are also available.

4.7. Customization
The system allows for extensive customization. In the "Options" or "Settings" menu, you can change the background image, set a custom startup logo, and select from various design themes (skins) to personalize the user interface. Individual application volumes can also be adjusted.
5. Maintenance
5.1. Screen Cleaning
To clean the touchscreen, power off the device. Use a soft, lint-free cloth slightly dampened with water or a screen-cleaning solution. Avoid abrasive materials or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the screen coating.
5.2. Software and Map Updates
Periodically check for software updates for the infotainment system and map updates for the navigation software. Map updates can be managed via www.naviextras.com. System software updates may be available from the manufacturer's website or authorized service centers.
6. Troubleshooting
- No Power: Check all power connections and vehicle fuses. Ensure the ignition is on.
- No Sound: Verify volume settings are not muted or set too low. Check speaker connections. Ensure the correct audio source is selected.
- Navigation Not Working: Ensure the navigation SD card is properly inserted. Check GPS signal strength. Verify map data is up-to-date.
- Bluetooth Connection Issues: Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on both the system and your phone. Delete previous pairings and attempt to re-pair the device.
- Touchscreen Unresponsive: Perform a system reset (refer to the manufacturer's specific instructions for a reset button location, if available).
- Disc Read Error: Ensure the disc is clean and free of scratches. Verify the disc format is supported.
