• Large Magnifier Head (approx. 2 3/16" diameter, 2.25x magnification)

Note: 3 AAA batteries are required for operation and are not included.

Setup

1. Battery Installation:

   Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the lamp unit. Open the compartment cover and insert 3 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the cover securely.

2. Attaching Magnifier Head:

   Select either the large or small magnifier head. Align the connector on the magnifier head with the receptacle at the end of the flexible neck. Gently push until it clicks into place. To remove, pull firmly but carefully.

3. Choosing Usage Mode (Freestanding or Clip-on):

   The lamp unit comes with a base for freestanding use. To convert to clip-on mode, detach the main lamp unit from its base by pulling it upwards. The detached unit has a built-in clip. To reattach to the base, align and push down until secure.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off:

   Locate the power button on the magnifier head. Press the button once to turn the LED light on. Press it again to turn the light off.

2. Adjusting the Flexible Neck:

   The lamp features a flexible gooseneck. Gently bend and position the neck to direct the light and magnifier to your desired angle and height. The height can be adjusted from 2.75 inches to 16.625 inches.

3. Using the Magnifier:

   Position the magnifier directly over the object or text you wish to view. Adjust the height and angle of the lamp using the flexible neck until the object is clearly magnified and illuminated.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: To clean the lamp and magnifier lenses, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn smudges on the lens, a slightly damp cloth with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner can be used, followed by drying with a clean, soft cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
• Battery Replacement: When the LED light appears dim or stops working, it is time to replace the batteries. Follow the battery installation steps in the Setup section. Always replace all three AAA batteries at the same time with new ones.
• Storage: When not in use for extended periods, remove the batteries to prevent leakage. Store the lamp in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
