1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing the Pyramid BNPS102 10-Inch Dual Car Audio Subwoofers with Bandpass Enclosure. This system is designed to deliver powerful and deep bass for your car audio experience. It features a maximum power handling of 1000 watts at 4-ohm, built-in neon accent lighting, specially treated black rubber edge suspension, and a bandpass alignment for enhanced bass response. The front window is constructed from plexi-glass, showcasing the silver polypropylene cones of the subwoofers and four tuned ports.

2. Safety Information

3. Package Contents

Verify that all items are present in the package:

A small black control unit with wires, a cigarette lighter adapter, and a DC plug, used for controlling neon lights.

4. Setup and Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance and safety. If you are unsure about any steps, consult a professional car audio installer.

4.1. Choosing a Location

Select a secure location in your vehicle, typically the trunk or cargo area, where the enclosure will not obstruct vision or movement, and can be securely fastened. Ensure there is sufficient space for air circulation around the ports.

4.2. Wiring Connections

The BNPS102 features a terminal cup on the rear for speaker wire connections. Ensure correct polarity (+ to + and - to -) from your amplifier to the subwoofer terminals.

4.3. Securing the Enclosure

Secure the subwoofer enclosure(s) to prevent movement. Use straps, brackets, or other appropriate mounting hardware (not included) to firmly anchor the unit to the vehicle's chassis or trunk floor.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Audio System Operation

Once properly installed and connected to your car audio amplifier, the subwoofers will reproduce low-frequency audio. Adjust the gain, crossover, and phase settings on your amplifier and head unit for optimal sound quality and integration with your existing speakers.

5.2. Neon Accent Lighting

The BNPS102 features built-in neon accent lighting. Use the provided control unit to manage the lighting effects.

6. Maintenance

The Pyramid BNPS102 subwoofers require minimal maintenance to ensure longevity and performance.

7. Troubleshooting

If you experience issues with your Pyramid BNPS102 subwoofers, refer to the following common problems and solutions:

  • Try flipping the phase switch on your amplifier or head unit.
  • Test with a high-quality audio source.
Neon Lights Not Working
  • Lighting control unit not powered.
  • Loose connection to the neon lights.
  • Faulty control unit or neon tube.
  • Ensure the control unit is properly connected to a 12V power source and turned on.
  • Check the small DC input connection on the subwoofer enclosure.
  • If issues persist, contact customer support.
