5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Ingredient Preparation

  • Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly.
  • Remove large seeds, pits, and hard skins (e.g., pineapple skin, citrus peels).
  • Cut ingredients into pieces that fit easily into the feeding chute. For fibrous vegetables like celery or leafy greens, cut them into shorter lengths (1-2 inches) to prevent clogging.
  • For hard ingredients like carrots, cut them into finger-sized strips.

5.2 Juicing Process

  1. Ensure the juice cap is closed if you want to mix juices or perform pre-cleaning. Open it to allow juice to flow directly into the container.
  2. Press the "ON" button to start the motor.
  3. Slowly feed prepared ingredients into the hopper. Use the pusher only if necessary to gently guide ingredients. Do not force ingredients.
  4. Alternate between soft and hard ingredients for optimal juicing performance and to prevent clogging.
  5. Once juicing is complete, press the "OFF" button.
  6. Open the juice cap to release any remaining juice into the container.

5.3 Using the Juice Cap for Mixing and Pre-Cleaning

  • Mixing: Close the juice cap during juicing to allow different ingredients to mix thoroughly inside the drum before dispensing.
  • Pre-Cleaning: After juicing, close the juice cap, pour water into the hopper, and run the juicer for a few seconds. This helps rinse the internal components, making final cleaning easier.

6. Cleaning and Maintenance

Regular cleaning is essential for hygiene and maintaining the juicer's performance. Always clean the juicer immediately after use.

  1. Unplug: Always unplug the juicer from the power outlet before cleaning.
  2. Disassemble: Disassemble the juicer in reverse order of assembly: remove the hopper, then the auger, strainer, spinning brush, and drum.
  3. Rinse: Rinse all removable parts under running water. Use the pre-cleaning function (Section 5.3) beforehand to loosen pulp.
  4. Brush Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning brushes to remove any remaining pulp from the strainer, auger, and other components. Pay special attention to the fine mesh of the strainer.
  5. Hand Wash Only: All removable parts should be washed by hand with mild dish soap and water. Do not wash any parts in a dishwasher, as this can cause damage.
  6. Wipe Motor Base: Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Never immerse the motor base in water.
  7. Dry: Allow all parts to air dry completely on the provided drying rack or a clean cloth before reassembling or storing.
  8. Storage: Store the clean and dry juicer in a safe place.
