4. Setup

4.1 Battery Installation

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the scale.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Insert the two 3V Lithium CR 2032 batteries, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

4.2 Placement

Place the kitchen scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Uneven surfaces can affect weighing accuracy.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

To turn on the scale, press the ON/OFF/TARE button. The display will show "8888" and then "0g" (or the last used unit) when ready for use. The scale will automatically turn off after 60 seconds of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5.2 Weighing Ingredients

  1. Ensure the scale is on a flat surface and powered on, displaying "0g".
  2. Gently place the item to be weighed directly onto the stainless steel platform.
  3. The weight will be displayed on the LCD screen.

5.3 Tare Function (Zeroing)

The tare function allows you to weigh multiple ingredients in the same container or to subtract the weight of a container.

  1. Place an empty container on the scale. The display will show its weight.
  2. Press the ON/OFF/TARE button. The display will reset to "0g".
  3. Add the first ingredient to the container. Its weight will be displayed.
  4. To add another ingredient, press the ON/OFF/TARE button again to zero the display.
  5. Add the next ingredient. Repeat as needed.

5.4 Unit Selection (g/ml)

To switch between grams (g) and milliliters (ml), press the UNIT button located on the scale. The current unit will be indicated on the display.
