Product Overview

The GPX C224B is a versatile dual alarm clock radio designed for convenience and reliability. It features a clear red LED display, AM/FM radio with station presets, and dual alarm functions allowing you to wake to either the radio or a buzzer. Its compact design makes it suitable for any bedside table or desk.

Setup

Power Connection

Connect the included AC power adapter to the DC input jack on the back of the unit and then plug the adapter into a standard wall outlet. The clock display will light up.

Battery Backup Installation

For battery backup, install two AAA batteries (not included) into the battery compartment located on the bottom of the unit. This feature ensures that time and alarm settings are maintained during a power outage, though the display will not be lit.

Operating Instructions

Setting the Time

1. Press and hold the CLOCK button until the display flashes.
2. Use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to adjust the time.
3. Press CLOCK again to confirm and exit time setting mode.

Setting Alarms (Dual Alarm Feature)

The unit features two independent alarms (Alarm 1 and Alarm 2).

The GPX C224B supports dual alarms, perfect for different wake-up times or for two users.

1. Press and hold the AL1 or AL2 button until the display flashes.
2. Use the HOUR and MINUTE buttons to set the desired alarm time.
3. Press AL1 or AL2 again to select the alarm source (Buzzer or Radio). The corresponding indicator will light up.
4. Press AL1 or AL2 one more time to confirm and exit.

AM/FM Radio Operation

The clock radio features both AM and FM radio bands for diverse listening options.

• Press the AM/FM button to turn on the radio. Press again to switch between AM and FM bands.
• Use the TUNING +/- buttons to manually tune to a station. Press and hold to auto-scan for the next available station.
• To save a preset: Tune to the desired station, then press and hold the PRESET button until the preset number flashes. Use PRESET again to select the preset number (P01-P10 for each band), then press CLOCK to save.
• To recall a preset: Briefly press the PRESET button to cycle through saved stations.

Volume Control

While the radio is on, use the VOLUME +/- buttons to adjust the listening volume.

Snooze Function

When an alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/SLEEP button to temporarily silence the alarm for approximately 9 minutes. The alarm will sound again after the snooze period.

Display Dimmer

To adjust the brightness of the LED display, press the DIMMER button (if available, or typically integrated with other buttons like SNOOZE/SLEEP by multiple presses) to cycle through brightness levels.

Maintenance

• Clean the unit with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Keep the unit away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive dust or moisture.
• If the unit will not be used for a long period, remove the backup batteries to prevent leakage.
