  1. Prepare the Door: Ensure your door has the correct cross bore (2 1/8"), edge bore (1"), and latch mortise (1" x 2 1/4").
  2. Install the Latch: Insert the latch mechanism into the edge bore of the door. Secure it with screws, but do not fully tighten them yet.
  3. Install the Exterior Knob: Place the exterior knob assembly through the cross bore, ensuring the spindle aligns with the latch mechanism.
  4. Install the Interior Knob: Attach the interior knob assembly, aligning it with the exterior knob and latch.
  5. Secure the Assembly: Use the provided screws to connect the interior and exterior knob assemblies. Ensure the latch tail prongs are properly engaged.
  6. Tighten Screws: Once the main lock body is threaded through the latch tail prongs, fully tighten all screws, including those for the latch faceplate.
  7. Test Operation: Before closing the door, test the privacy lock function and the Push Pull Rotate mechanism to ensure smooth operation.

Important Note: The product features 3" diameter roses designed to hide blemishes from old hardware. Removable interior knobs facilitate scratch-free installation.
