Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the Micro Motion Alarm.
- Using a small Phillips head screwdriver (not included), unscrew the battery compartment cover.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
Operating Instructions
The SpyX Micro Motion Alarm features two primary detection modes: Motion Detection and Vibration Mode.
Mode Selection

- Locate the M/V switch on the side of the alarm unit.
- Slide the switch to 'M' for Motion Detection Mode. In this mode, the alarm will trigger if it detects movement within its sensor range.
- Slide the switch to 'V' for Vibration Mode. In this mode, the alarm will trigger if the unit itself is moved or vibrated.
Setting the Alarm
- Once the desired mode is selected, place the Micro Motion Alarm in the desired location.
- Ensure the sensor (for Motion Detection Mode) is facing the area you wish to monitor. The motion detection range is approximately 5 feet.
- Activate the alarm by pressing the power button. A small indicator light may illuminate to confirm activation.
- When motion or vibration is detected (depending on the selected mode), the alarm will sound.
- To deactivate the alarm, press the power button again.
