3. Setup Guide

3.1 Unpacking and Placement

Carefully remove the amplifier from its packaging. Place the amplifier on a stable, level surface. The BA108V2 can be used in two positions:

• Upright Position: For traditional bass response.
• 60° Monitor Angle: Tilt the amplifier back to direct sound towards your ears, enhancing clarity, especially in small spaces.

3.2 Power Connection

1. Ensure the amplifier's power switch is in the OFF position.
2. Connect the supplied AC power cord to the amplifier's AC input and then to a grounded AC outlet.

3.3 Instrument Connection

1. Turn the amplifier's Volume control completely counter-clockwise (minimum).
2. Connect your bass guitar to the Input jack using a standard 1/4" instrument cable.
3. If your bass has a very high output, you may use the -15 dB Input Pad switch to prevent input clipping.

3.4 Auxiliary Input

To play along with external audio:

1. Connect your audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX In jack using a 1/4" or 1/8" stereo cable.
2. Adjust the playback volume on your external device and the AUX Level control on the amplifier.

3.5 Headphone Output

For silent practice:

1. Connect your headphones to the Phones 1/8" output jack.
2. The main speaker will be muted automatically. Adjust the Volume control for headphone listening.
