3. Setup Guide
3.1 Unpacking and Placement
Carefully remove the amplifier from its packaging. Place the amplifier on a stable, level surface. The BA108V2 can be used in two positions:
- Upright Position: For traditional bass response.
- 60° Monitor Angle: Tilt the amplifier back to direct sound towards your ears, enhancing clarity, especially in small spaces.

3.2 Power Connection
- Ensure the amplifier's power switch is in the OFF position.
- Connect the supplied AC power cord to the amplifier's AC input and then to a grounded AC outlet.
3.3 Instrument Connection
- Turn the amplifier's Volume control completely counter-clockwise (minimum).
- Connect your bass guitar to the Input jack using a standard 1/4" instrument cable.
- If your bass has a very high output, you may use the -15 dB Input Pad switch to prevent input clipping.
3.4 Auxiliary Input
To play along with external audio:
- Connect your audio device (e.g., smartphone, MP3 player) to the AUX In jack using a 1/4" or 1/8" stereo cable.
- Adjust the playback volume on your external device and the AUX Level control on the amplifier.
3.5 Headphone Output
For silent practice:
- Connect your headphones to the Phones 1/8" output jack.
- The main speaker will be muted automatically. Adjust the Volume control for headphone listening.
