5.1. Battery Installation

The Firefly pedal operates on two (2) AA batteries (not included) or via USB-C power. For battery operation:

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the pedal.
  2. Open the compartment cover.
  3. Insert two AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-).
  4. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2. Powering On/Off

To power on the device, slide the Power switch to the 'ON' position. To power off, slide the switch to 'OFF'. The pedal features an auto-sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity to conserve battery life.

5.3. Bluetooth Pairing

The Firefly pedal connects to your device via Bluetooth. Follow these steps to pair:

  1. Ensure the Firefly pedal is powered on.
  2. On your iPad, Android tablet, or computer, go to your Bluetooth settings.
  3. Search for new devices. The Firefly pedal should appear as 'PageFlip Firefly'.
  4. Select 'PageFlip Firefly' to pair. A successful connection will be indicated by a solid blue light on the pedal.
  5. If pairing fails, press the Bluetooth Reset button on the rear of the pedal and try again.

For a wired connection, simply connect the Firefly pedal to your computer or compatible device using the provided USB-C cable. The pedal will function as a standard keyboard input device.

The PageFlip Firefly offers five reprogrammable pedal modes, allowing for versatile control across various applications. Select a mode by pressing the corresponding numbered button (1-5) on the control panel.
