- Locate the lock on the side of the suitcase. The default combination is usually set to 0-0-0.
- With the lock set to 0-0-0, push the reset button (a small, recessed button) with a pen or a pointed object until you hear a click.
- Rotate the dials to your desired three-digit combination. Choose a memorable number.
- Push the main latch or slider (the part you use to open the lock) in the direction of the arrow. You should hear another click, indicating the new combination is set.

5. Maintenance and Care
To ensure the longevity of your Samsonite Skydro Spinner suitcase, follow these care guidelines:
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the polycarbonate shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and water. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these can damage the surface.
- Cleaning the Interior: The interior lining can be spot cleaned with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Allow to air dry completely before closing the suitcase.
- Wheels and Handle: Periodically check the wheels and telescopic handle for any debris or obstructions. Clean as needed. Do not lubricate the wheels or handle mechanism, as this can attract dirt.
- Storage: Store your suitcase in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight when not in use.
6. Troubleshooting
- Stuck Telescopic Handle: If the handle becomes difficult to extend or retract, ensure no items inside the suitcase are obstructing the handle mechanism. Avoid forcing the handle.
- Wheels Not Rolling Smoothly: Check for hair, lint, or other debris caught in the wheel axles. Carefully remove any obstructions.
- Lock Issues: If the combination lock does not open, ensure you are entering the correct combination. Refer to the "Setting the Combination Lock" section if you need to reset it (if you remember the current combination). If the combination is forgotten, Samsonite customer service may be able to assist, but often a forgotten combination cannot be recovered without damaging the lock.
