1. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before using the Nuvita 1822 Ariasana Humidifier. Keep this manual for future reference.

• Do not immerse the unit in water or other liquids.

3. Setup

1. Unpack the Humidifier: Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure all parts listed in the "Product Overview" section are present.
2. Place the Unit: Position the humidifier on a flat, stable, and waterproof surface. Ensure it is at least 15 cm (6 inches) away from walls, furniture, and electronic devices.
3. Fill the Water Tank:
   • Remove the water tank from the base unit.
   • Unscrew the cap at the bottom of the tank.
   • Fill the tank with clean, cool tap water. Do not fill with hot water. Distilled or demineralized water is recommended to minimize mineral residue.
   • Screw the cap back on tightly.
   • Place the filled water tank back onto the base unit, ensuring it is seated correctly.

4. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

4. Operation

1. Power On: Turn the control knob clockwise. The power indicator light will illuminate green, and the humidifier will begin to produce mist.
2. Adjust Mist Volume: Continue turning the control knob clockwise to increase the mist output. Turn it counter-clockwise to decrease the mist output.
3. Automatic Shut-off: The humidifier will automatically turn off when the water tank is empty. The power indicator light will turn red.
4. Night Mode: The unit operates silently, making it suitable for use in bedrooms during the night.
5. Power Off: Turn the control knob counter-clockwise until it clicks into the "OFF" position. Unplug the unit from the power outlet when not in use.

5. Maintenance

Regular cleaning and maintenance are essential for optimal performance and longevity of your Nuvita 1822 Ariasana Humidifier.

5.1 Daily Maintenance

• Empty and rinse the water tank daily.
• Wipe the base unit and mist outlet with a clean, damp cloth.

5.2 Weekly Maintenance

• Descaling the Water Tank and Base:
  • Unplug the humidifier and remove the water tank.
  • Pour 1 cup (250ml) of undiluted white vinegar into the water tank and into the base unit's water reservoir.
  • Let it soak for 20-30 minutes.
  • Use a soft brush or cloth to clean mineral deposits from the tank and the ultrasonic transducer in the base.
  • Rinse both the tank and base thoroughly with clean water until the vinegar smell is gone.
• Cleaning the Filters:
  • The Silberion filter and Active Carbon filter should be rinsed under cool running water.

5.3 Storage
