Setup
1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection

2. Charging the Battery
- Insert the supplied EN-EL23 Rechargeable Li-ion Battery into the battery charger.
- Plug the charger into a power outlet. The charging indicator will light up.
- Charging is complete when the indicator light turns off.
3. Inserting the Memory Card
- Open the battery/memory card cover on the bottom of the camera.

4. Attaching the Camera Strap

1. Power On/Off

- Hold the camera steady and frame your shot using the vari-angle display or electronic viewfinder.
- Gently press the shutter-release button halfway to focus. The focus area will illuminate.
- Press the shutter-release button all the way down to take the picture.
