Setup

Unpacking

Carefully remove all packaging materials from the microwave oven. Check the oven for any damage, such as dents or a misaligned door. Do not operate the oven if it is damaged.

Placement

Place the microwave on a flat, stable surface that can support its weight and the heaviest food item likely to be cooked in it. Ensure there is adequate ventilation space around the oven: at least 4 inches (10 cm) at the back, 8 inches (20 cm) at the top, and 2 inches (5 cm) on the sides. Do not block air vents.

Turntable Assembly

The self-locating turntable is designed to slide effortlessly into place.

1. Place the turntable ring inside the oven cavity.
2. Place the glass turntable plate on top of the turntable ring, ensuring it sits securely in the center hub.

Power Connection

Plug the power cord into a standard 110-120V AC electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Control Panel Overview

The Breville Quick Touch features an intuitive control panel with a large LCD display, dials, and one-touch auto buttons.

Setting the Clock

1. Press the CLOCK button.
2. Rotate the TIME/FOOD TYPE dial to set the hour.
3. Press the TIME/FOOD TYPE dial to confirm.
4. Rotate the TIME/FOOD TYPE dial to set the minutes.
5. Press the TIME/FOOD TYPE dial to confirm and set the clock.

Basic Microwave Cooking

1. Place food in a microwave-safe container on the turntable.
2. Close the door.
3. Rotate the TIME/FOOD TYPE dial to set the desired cooking time.
4. Rotate the POWER/AMOUNT dial to select the power level (10% to 100%).
5. Press the START button to begin cooking.

Dynamic Power Adjustment: You can adjust both the power level and cooking time during the cooking cycle by rotating the respective dials.

Smart Settings (Sensor IQ)

The Sensor IQ Reheat and Cook function automatically adjusts cooking time by detecting humidity levels in the food.

1. Open the door to reveal the shortcut menu.
2. Select the desired smart setting (e.g., Reheat, Cook, Defrost) from the internal menu.
3. Follow the on-screen prompts, if any, to select food type or quantity.
4. Press START. The microwave will automatically determine the optimal cooking time.

"A Bit More" Function

If your food needs a little extra cooking time after a cycle finishes, press the A Bit More button. This adds a short burst of cooking time without needing to reset the full cycle.

One-Touch Auto Buttons
