2.2 LED Indicator
A blue LED indicates the subwoofer is active, while a red LED indicates standby mode. The subwoofer has a green standby mode with less than 0.5 watts consumption.
3. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and performance of your SVS PB-2000 Subwoofer, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe down the cabinet. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Grille Care: The protective non-resonant steel mesh grille can be removed for cleaning or aesthetic preference. Handle with care to avoid bending or damage.
- Placement Environment: Avoid placing the subwoofer in direct sunlight, near heat sources, or in areas with excessive moisture.
4. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your SVS PB-2000 Subwoofer, refer to the following common solutions:
- No Sound: Check all cable connections, ensuring they are firmly seated. Verify the subwoofer is powered on and not in standby mode. Confirm the volume/gain control is not set to minimum.
- Humming Noise: Ensure all audio cables are properly shielded and not running parallel to power cables. Try plugging the subwoofer into a different electrical outlet.
- Distorted Sound: Reduce the volume/gain setting. Check the low pass filter and phase settings for proper integration with your main speakers.
