2. Safety Warnings
To ensure safe use and prevent damage, observe the following warnings:
- Avoid overloading glass shelves: Distribute weight evenly across each shelf.
- Maximum Load Capacity: Each shelf is designed to support up to 80 kg, however, for optimal safety and longevity, a maximum load of 40 kg per shelf is recommended.
- Assembly: Follow the assembly instructions carefully to prevent injuries. Use appropriate tools if necessary during assembly.
- Stability: Ensure the furniture is stable and placed on a level surface. Avoid placing objects on the furniture that could cause it to tilt or become unstable.
- Glass Handling: Handle glass shelves with care to prevent breakage. Avoid impacts or sudden temperature changes.
3. Package Contents
Before beginning assembly, please verify that all components are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, contact VCM customer support.

4. Assembly Instructions
Follow these steps for proper assembly. It is recommended to have two people for assembly to ensure stability and ease of handling, especially with the glass components.
- Unpack Components: Carefully unpack all components and lay them out on a soft, clean surface (e.g., a blanket or carpet) to prevent scratches.
- Attach Bottom Columns: Securely attach the bottom set of aluminum columns to the lowest glass shelf using the provided mounting hardware. Ensure all connections are firm but do not overtighten.
- Add Subsequent Shelves: Place the next glass shelf onto the attached columns. Repeat this process, adding columns and shelves layer by layer, ensuring correct orientation and secure fastening for each connection.
- Attach Top Columns: Securely attach the top set of aluminum columns to the top glass shelf.
- Final Check: Carefully stand the assembled rack upright. Verify the overall stability and tighten all connections if necessary.

Each glass shelf has a thickness of 5 mm. The cable management holes have a diameter of approximately 53.47 mm. Each shelf is rated for a maximum load of 80 kg, with a recommended safe load of 40 kg.
5. Operating Instructions
Once assembled, your VCM Bilus Hi-Fi Rack is ready for use.
- Placement: Position the Hi-Fi rack on a flat, stable, and level surface in your desired location.
- Equipment Loading: Carefully place your audio/video equipment onto the glass shelves. Ensure that the weight is distributed evenly across each shelf to maintain stability. Do not exceed the recommended maximum load of 40 kg per shelf.
- Cable Management: Utilize the integrated cable guide, located within the aluminum columns, to organize and conceal power and audio/video cables. This helps maintain a tidy appearance and prevents potential tripping hazards.
6. Maintenance and Care
Proper care will ensure the longevity and appearance of your Hi-Fi rack.
- Cleaning: Clean the glass surfaces and aluminum columns with a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn marks on glass, a mild glass cleaner can be used, applied to the cloth first, not directly to the glass. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or scouring pads, as these can damage the finish.
- Periodic Inspection: Periodically check all screws and fasteners to ensure they remain tight and secure. Retighten if necessary.
- Glass Care: Always handle glass shelves with care. Avoid impacts, dropping objects onto them, or exposing them to extreme temperature fluctuations, which could lead to breakage.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your VCM Bilus Hi-Fi Rack, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Issue: The rack feels unstable after assembly.
Solution: Ensure all screws and fasteners are fully tightened. Verify that the rack is placed on a perfectly level surface. Adjust the placement if necessary. - Issue: Audio/video equipment does not fit on the shelves.
