Setup
- Unpack the Device: Carefully remove the digital timer power strip from its packaging.
- Initial Charge/Reset: Before first use, plug the timer into a live wall outlet for at least 30 minutes to charge the internal battery. This battery maintains settings during power outages. If the display is blank or erratic, press the "RESET" button (usually a small recessed button requiring a pen tip) to clear all settings and restart.
- Placement: Place the power strip on a flat, stable surface or mount it securely if it has mounting holes. Ensure it is away from sources of water or excessive heat.
- Plug In: Connect the power strip's plug into a standard 120V AC grounded wall outlet.
- Connect Devices: Plug your desired electrical devices into the 8 outlets on the power strip. Note that some outlets may be controlled by the timer, while others might be "always on." Refer to the markings on the unit.

- AUTO: The timer operates according to the programmed ON/OFF schedules. This is the default mode for automated operation.
Press the "MANUAL" or "ON/AUTO/OFF" button repeatedly to cycle through these modes until "AUTO" is displayed for automatic operation.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Disconnect the power strip from the wall outlet before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Do not use liquid cleaners or aerosol cleaners.
- Storage: If storing the unit for an extended period, ensure it is unplugged and kept in a cool, dry place.
- Battery: The internal battery is designed for long life and typically does not require replacement. If the display frequently goes blank or loses settings, the battery may be failing, and the unit might need to be replaced.
