1. Introduction

2. What's in the Box

Your Logitech ConferenceCam CC3000e package includes the following components:

3. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your Logitech ConferenceCam CC3000e:

  1. Position the Camera: Place the videoconferencing camera on a stable surface or mount it using the provided wall/table mount. Ensure it has a clear view of the meeting participants.
  2. Position the Speakerphone: Place the speakerphone in the center of your meeting table for optimal audio pickup and distribution.
  3. Connect the Hub: The powered hub acts as the central connection point. Connect the camera, speakerphone, and your computer to this hub.
  4. Connect Camera to Hub: Use the provided video cable (16 ft) to connect the camera to the powered hub.
  5. Connect Speakerphone to Hub: Use the provided speaker cable (16 ft) to connect the speakerphone to the powered hub.
  6. Connect Hub to Computer: Use the provided USB cable (10 ft) to connect the powered hub to your PC or Mac.
  7. Power On: Connect the power adapter to the powered hub and plug it into an electrical outlet. The system is plug-and-play and should be recognized by your computer automatically.

4. Operating Instructions

Once the system is set up, you can begin using it for your video and audio conferences.

4.1. Starting a Conference

  1. Launch Application: Open your preferred Unified Communications (UC) or web conferencing application on your connected PC or Mac.
  2. Select Devices: In your application's settings, select the Logitech ConferenceCam CC3000e as your primary camera, microphone, and speaker.
  3. Initiate Call: Start your video conference call as you normally would within your chosen application.

4.2. Speakerphone Controls

The speakerphone features intuitive touch controls for managing your audio during a call.

  • Volume Up/Down: Adjust the speaker volume using the dedicated touch buttons.
  • Mute Microphone: Tap the microphone icon to mute or unmute the microphone. An indicator light will show the microphone status.
  • Call Answer/End: Use the call buttons to answer or end calls directly from the speakerphone.
  • Bluetooth/NFC Pairing: The speakerphone supports Bluetooth and NFC for mobile device pairing, allowing you to use it as a high-quality speakerphone for calls from your smartphone or tablet.

4.3. Camera Control with Remote

The included remote control allows you to adjust the camera's view during a conference.

  • Pan/Tilt: Use the directional arrows on the remote to pan the camera horizontally and tilt it vertically.
  • Zoom: Use the zoom in/out buttons to adjust the optical 10x lossless zoom, allowing you to focus on specific participants or areas of the room.
  • Presets: Save and recall up to three camera presets for quick transitions between different views.
