6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Periodic Checks: Regularly inspect all mounting screws and connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Over time, vibrations or adjustments can cause screws to loosen.
- Lubrication: The moving parts are designed for smooth operation and generally do not require lubrication. If movement becomes stiff, consult Hama support.
7. Troubleshooting
7.1. TV is not level after installation.
Solution: Check the wall plate installation with a level. If the wall plate is level, adjust the TV brackets on the back of the TV or use the fine-tuning adjustment features of the mount (if available) to correct the tilt.
7.2. TV feels unstable or wobbly.
Solution: Immediately remove the TV from the mount. Re-check all wall plate and TV bracket connections. Ensure all screws are tightened to the recommended torque. Verify the wall type and anchors are appropriate for the TV's weight. If the issue persists, consult a professional installer.
7.3. Difficulty adjusting tilt or swivel.
Solution: Ensure no cables are obstructing movement. Check for any adjustment screws on the mount that might need to be loosened before adjustment and tightened afterward. Do not force movement.
