Setup
Before using your Timex Ironman watch, ensure it is properly set up for accurate timekeeping and functionality.
Setting Time and Date
Press the MODE button repeatedly until you reach the Time Set mode.
Press the SET/RECALL button to enter the setting sequence. The first digit to be set will flash.
Use the START/SPLIT button to advance the flashing digit.
Press the MODE button to move to the next digit or setting (e.g., hours, minutes, seconds, month, day, year).
Repeat steps 3 and 4 until all desired settings are adjusted.
Press the SET/RECALL button to exit Time Set mode and save your changes.
12/24 Hour Format
While in Time Set mode, you can toggle between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour (military) time formats using the STOP/RESET button when the hour digits are flashing.
Time Zone Setting
The watch supports two time zones. To set the second time zone, navigate to the T2 (Time Zone 2) display and follow the same setting procedure as for the main time.
Operating Instructions
Your Timex Ironman watch offers various functions to support your active lifestyle.
Chronograph (Stopwatch)
The 100-hour chronograph with 30-lap memory is ideal for tracking workouts and events.
Press MODE until "CHRONO" appears on the display.
Press START/SPLIT to begin timing.
Press START/SPLIT again to record a lap/split time. The display will show the split time for a few seconds before returning to the running total.
Press STOP/RESET to pause the chronograph. Press START/SPLIT to resume, or STOP/RESET again to reset to zero.
To recall lap times, press SET/RECALL while the chronograph is stopped. Use START/SPLIT and STOP/RESET to scroll through recorded laps.
Timer
The 24-hour countdown timer can be used for various timed activities.
Press MODE until "TIMER" appears.
Press SET/RECALL to set the timer duration. Use START/SPLIT to adjust digits and MODE to move between hours, minutes, and seconds.
Press SET/RECALL to save the duration.
Press START/SPLIT to start the countdown.
The timer will beep when it reaches zero. Press any button to stop the alarm.
Alarms
Set up to three daily, weekday, or weekend alarms.
Press MODE until "ALARM" appears. Use START/SPLIT to cycle through ALM 1, ALM 2, ALM 3.
Press SET/RECALL to set the alarm time. Adjust digits with START/SPLIT and move with MODE.
After setting the time, press MODE to select alarm frequency (daily, weekday, weekend).
Press SET/RECALL to save.
To activate/deactivate an alarm, select the alarm (ALM 1, 2, or 3) and press START/SPLIT. An alarm icon will appear when active.
Indiglo Night-Light
Press the INDIGLO button (top right) to illuminate the watch face for easy viewing in low light conditions.

Water Resistance
This watch is water resistant to 100 meters (330 feet). It is suitable for swimming and snorkeling, but not for scuba diving. Do not press any buttons while the watch is submerged to prevent water entry.

Battery Replacement
The watch uses 1 Lithium Metal battery (included). Battery life is approximately 2 years. When the display dims or functions become erratic, it's time to replace the battery. It is recommended to have the battery replaced by a qualified watch technician to ensure water resistance is maintained.
Cleaning
Clean your watch with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the case or strap.
