3. Setup & Installation
This fan is designed for wall mounting. Ensure you have the necessary tools and a suitable mounting location before beginning installation.
Mounting Instructions:
- Choose a sturdy wall location, preferably a wall stud, to support the fan's weight.
- Use the included mounting bracket as a template to mark the drill holes on the wall.
- Drill pilot holes and insert appropriate wall anchors if not mounting into a stud.
- Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided screws.
- Carefully attach the fan unit to the mounted bracket, ensuring it is securely seated.
- Plug the 5 ft power cord into a standard 120V electrical outlet.

4. Operating Instructions
The Hurricane Classic Wall Mount Fan is controlled using two pull cords located at the bottom of the fan unit.
Speed Control:
- The right pull cord controls the fan speed.
- Pull the cord once for Speed 1 (Low).
- Pull the cord a second time for Speed 2 (Medium).
- Pull the cord a third time for Speed 3 (High).
- Pull the cord a fourth time to turn the fan OFF.
Oscillation Control:
- The left pull cord controls the oscillation feature.
- Pull the cord once to activate 90-degree oscillation. The fan head will move from side to side.
- Pull the cord again to stop oscillation. The fan will remain in a fixed position.
Adjusting Fan Tilt:
The fan head can be manually tilted up or down to direct airflow. Ensure the fan is off before adjusting the tilt to prevent accidental movement.

5. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure optimal performance and extend the life of your fan.
Cleaning:
- Always unplug the fan from the power outlet before cleaning.
