2. Setup: Battery Installation
Each Defiant LED flashlight requires three (3) AAA batteries for operation. The 8-pack includes 24 AAA Eveready batteries.
- Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight by turning it counter-clockwise.
- Insert three (3) AAA batteries into the battery compartment, ensuring the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals align correctly with the markings inside the flashlight. The positive end typically faces towards the flashlight head.
- Screw the tail cap back on by turning it clockwise until it is securely tightened. Do not overtighten.

3. Operating Instructions
To operate the flashlight:
- Turning On/Off: Press the button located on the tail cap of the flashlight to turn the light on. Press it again to turn the light off.
- Light Output: The flashlight provides a single mode of bright, white LED light.
4. Maintenance
- Battery Replacement: When the light dims or fails to turn on, replace all three AAA batteries with new ones. Always replace all batteries at the same time and use the same type of battery.
