Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for safe and proper installation:
- Turn Off Power: Before starting, ensure the power supply to the installation area is turned off at the main circuit breaker or fuse box.
- Prepare Mounting Surface: The fixture is designed for wall mounting over an existing junction box (junction box not included). Ensure the junction box is securely installed and capable of supporting the fixture's weight (approximately 6.38 lbs).
- Connect Wiring: Carefully pull the electrical wires from the junction box. Connect the fixture's wires to the house wires according to standard electrical practices:
- Connect the black (hot) wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the white (neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box.
- Connect the green or bare copper (ground) wire from the fixture to the green or bare copper (ground) wire from the junction box.
- Mount Fixture: Align the fixture's backplate with the junction box and secure it using the provided mounting screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the wall and stable.

- Install Bulbs: Insert the provided 20 Watt G4 Base Xenon bulbs into their respective sockets. Handle bulbs by their glass to avoid transferring oils from your skin, which can reduce bulb life.
- Attach Glass Shades: Carefully place each clear twist glass shade over its corresponding bulb and secure it according to the fixture's design. Ensure they are firmly seated but do not overtighten.

Operating Instructions
The Quoizel PRN8606C Bath Bar Vanity Wall Lighting operates via a standard wall switch (not included). Once installed and wired correctly, simply toggle the wall switch to turn the light fixture on or off.
- Bulb Type: This fixture uses 6-20 Watt G4 Base Xenon bulbs. The total wattage is 120 Watts.
- Voltage: The G4 bulbs operate at 12 Volts. The fixture includes an internal transformer to convert standard household voltage to 12V for the bulbs.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and appearance of your lighting fixture.
- Cleaning: To clean the fixture, turn off the power and allow it to cool. Wipe the polished chrome finish with a soft, dry cloth. For glass shades, use a mild glass cleaner applied to a cloth, then wipe the shades. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that may damage the finish or glass.
- Bulb Replacement: When a bulb burns out, turn off the power to the fixture. Carefully remove the glass shade. Gently pull the old G4 bulb straight out from its socket. Insert a new 20 Watt G4 Base Xenon bulb, pushing it straight into the socket. Replace the glass shade. It is recommended to replace all bulbs at once for consistent light output and to avoid frequent access to the fixture.
